Oct. 7, 2008, Kingston, Ont. - The cause of a fire at the Invista plant in Millhaven on
Sunday night remains unknown. As the Kingston Whig Standard reports, when firefighters from Loyalist Fire and Rescue arrived around 9:30 p. m., a
large plume of smoke was coming from a large, 50-year-old warehouse northeast of
the plant on the Invista property near Taylor-Kidd Boulevard, just west of

Oct. 7, 2008, Enfield, N.S. - A mid-afternoon fire burned completely through the roof of a pretty Enfield
home Monday. As the Halifax Chronicle Herald reports, firefighters from several stations rushed to a tidy home with light-grey
siding at about 2 p.m. and saw thick smoke and flames shooting
