| Job Description |
Firefighters for the City of Fort St. John perform skilled work in combating, extinguishing and preventing fires and operating and maintaining fire fighting equipment, apparatus and quarters. Applicants must be able to pass a prescribed physical examination and physical ability test as well as a written exam. Individuals with NFPA 1001 Levels 1 & 2, a valid class BC Class 3 Drivers' Licence with Air endorsement (or equivalent), Emergency Medical Responder certification and CPR Level C are encouraged to apply.
