The Osoyoos Fire Department |
May 7, 2009 - Osoyoos Fire Department in B.C. under Chief Rick Jones, took delivery in April of a Hub Fire Engines-built tanker. Built on a Freightliner m2 106 4X4 chassis and powered by a Cummins 300-hp engine, the tanker features an Allison 3000 EVS transmission, Hale HPW pump and a 7,000 litre co-poly tank.

April 23, 2009 - The North Sydney Fire Department in Nova Scotia, under Chief Lloyd MacIntosh took delivery in February of a Ferrara Fire Apparatus-built rescue pumper. Built on a Intruder 2 chassis and powered by a Cummins 330-hp engine, the pumper features a Hale 1050 igpm pump, Foam Pro 1600 foam system, 1,500-litre co-poly water tank, Command Light light tower and Onan hydraulic generator.

March 18, 2009 - The Quesnel Fire Department in B.C. under Chief Ric Raynor took delivery in March of a HUB Fire Engines-built pumper. The apparatus features a Spartan, Gladiator chassis, 425-hp Cummins ISL engine, Allison 3000 EVS transmission, Waterous CSUC pump, Advantus 3 foam system and 1250 gallon co-poly water tank.

March 18, 2009 - Lions Bay Fire Department under Chief Andrew Oliver took delivery in March of a HUB Fire Engines-built pumper. Built on a Spartan, Gladiator chassis and powered by a 400-hp Cummins ISL engine, the truck features a Hale QMax 150 pump, Foam Pro 2002 foam system, Allison 3000 EVS transmission and 2000 litre co-poly water tank.

March 4, 2009 - The Mount Lorne Fire Department in the Yukon, took delivery in May of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks built MXV three-person Crown CAFS pumper on a Sterling Acterra chassis with a Caterpillar C7 300-hp engine, a Waterous CDC10 1250 pump, Pneumax 150P CAFS with FoamPro 1600 foam system and a co-poly 1000-gallon tank.

March 4, 2009 - The Cornwall Fire Service in Ontario, under the command of Chief Vic Leroux, took delivery in June of a Spartan Metro Star (LFD) rescue pumper with six-person cab, a Hale QFlo 5,000 lpm pump, Hale Master foam system and Allison transmission, driven by a Cummins ISC 330 diesel engine.

March 3, 2009 - Fort McMurray Airport (YYM), in Fort McMurray, Alta., took delivery of two Rosenbauer ARFF Panthers on Rosenbauer Motors chassis, Panther 1500 bodies, twin disc, six-speed transmissions, 1600-gallon water tank, 1850 gpm pump, 210-gallon foam cells and Onan 10kW hydraulic generators.

March 3, 2009 - Nokomis and District Fire Co-op in Sask., under chief Dale Shanks, took delivery in June of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks-built pumper on a Sterling Acterra chassis, Cat C7 300-hp engine, 3000EVS transmission , Darling PSP 1000 pump and a 1000 imperial gallon co-poly tank.

March 3, 2009 - Niverville Fire and Emergency Services in Niverville, Man., under the direction of Chief Ferd Klassen, took delivery of an E-One Typhoon pumper in November. Purchased from Carrier Fire and Safety in Winnipeg, Man. 1250 gpm -1000 gal water tank, Class A Foam, and a 6 man cab.

March 3, 2009 - The Tsiigehtchic Charter Community Fire Department in the Northwest Territories, under Chief Sony Blake took delivery in September of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks-built pumper on an Sterling Acterra chassis, with a Cummins ISC300 – 300 hp engine, 3000EVS transmission, Waterous CS 1250, 900 imperial gallon co-poly tank and FoamPro 1600 Class A system.

Feb. 20, 2009 - The Saskatoon Fire Department, in Sask., took delivery in August of a Rosenbauer America rescue-pumper on a Spartan Diamond chassis with a Cummins ISL-365 motor, a Waterous CSUY pump rated at 1,750 gpm, a 600-gallon UPF water tank and a FoamPro 2002 system supported by two 30-gallon foam cells.
