April 4, 2012 – Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com added a powerful LED light tower to its line of products. The heavy duty tower is designed to provide an easily transported light source for operators in construction, utility and emergency services industries. The tower sits on four legs and can be adjusted to between five and 14 feet in height. It is lightweight and produces 3,440 lumens of light in a wide flood pattern that is ideal for work areas and DOT/construction flaggers.
The WAL-QP-P10W-40X2E-25 quad-pod mounted LED work area light can operate with standard 120-277 VAC electrical current and is constructed of heavy gauge aluminum for light weight and high strength.
The LED light head on this tower is a rugged design that has been built to resist damage from rough handling and the elements with a thick aluminum housing, shatterproof LEXAN lens, and an IP68 waterproof rating to three metres. These LED light heads contain Cree LEDs for maximum performance, and each LED is paired with high efficiency optics to produce a light beam that is both powerful as well as uniform and well distributed, resulting in even and effective illumination of the work space.

Feb. 21, 2012 - Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com has released a powerful LED light tower that combines efficiency and high light output with rugged durability. Designed to withstand demanding industrial, commercial and construction environments, this LED light tower provides illumination comparable to metal halide towers while using a fraction the power.
The WALQP-1X150LED work-area LED light is built to produce powerful illumination with an LED light head producing 14,790 lumens and a tower constructed of heavy gauge steel.
Designed with the demanding conditions of industrial and commercial applications in mind, this light tower is equipped with a 150-watt LED light head that is IP68 rated waterproof to three meters and a steel quad-pod constructed of heavy gauge steel.
The LED lamp on this unit is constructed of thick aluminum with a scratch- and impact-resistant LEXAN lens; the heavy gauge steel tower assembly is finished in a durable painted finish, and stainless steel hardware rounds out this unit’s weather and abuse resistant construction.
The LED lamp assembly on this tower operates on 120 to 277 VAC, produces 14,790 lumens, and will cover an area up to 18,000 square feet in size with bright white illumination, making this unit ideal for larger work spaces.
