Accountability made easy with Flames.net
ivsoftFeb. 3, 2011 – The Montreal fire department is currently testing the Flames.net accountability software system from IvSoft. Built by a firefighter for a firefighter, the software keeps track of each firefighter’s whereabouts using an identification barcode that stores health information. Flames.net keeps detailed logs of every event and allows for easy event replay and report printing. The system, including a portable touchscreen computer, is stored inside a strong case and can be placed on a tripod or in the back of a truck. Flames.net has been implemented in the Candiac Fire Department and helped the department win the 2010 Regional Innovation prize from the Health Commission of Quebec.
