Nov. 11, 2011 – In honour of Remembrance Day, Movember Canada is highlighting a very special Mo Bro's story.

Richard Jones is a WWII veteran living with prostate cancer. At nearly 90 years old, Jones has a unique and mo-tastic hobby: creating Sudoku puzzles using the word moustache. Read his story here.

As week two of Movember comes to a close, we are still looking for more Mo Bros and Sistas to send us their photos and Mo Space links so we can help spread the word.

Are you participating in Movember? What's your department doing to support men's health? E-mail photos of you and your colleagues donning your best Mos, and a brief description of your Movember campaign, to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it We'll post your photos and stories on our website.

If your department is putting together a Movember team, be sure to join the Great Canadian Fire Department Challenge network on www.ca.movember.com. Register your team as part of the network and compete with departments across Canada. Last year's winning team, the Niagara Falls Professional Fire Department in Ontario, raised more than $15,000 and was awarded the Movember Moustache trophy. Will you be a part of the winning team this year?

Visit www.ca.movember.com and support the future of men's health.

Some of the members of the Wilmot Fire Department (Baden Station)'s Mo team, organized by Greg St. Clair. Fourteen of the station's 25 members are taking part in the station's first-ever Movember challenge. Each firefighter has set a goal of raising $200 and early quitters will have to pay a penalty!
