Crews on scene after truck goes off highway into river
Written by The Canadian Press
March 5, 2013, Woodstock, Ont. – A rescue operation is underway on Highway 401 east of Woodstock after a transport truck left the road and plunged into a river.

Police have closed the eastbound lanes on the highway east of Highway 2, as emergency crews tend to the scene.

Authorities say the transport truck is submerged in the Nith River.

Woodstock fire crews are headed to the scene for what is being termed as an underwater rescue operation.
