Further to yesterday’s posting about the 1998 ice storm, which Environment Canada climatologist David Phillips calls the storm of the millennium, reporter Peter Ray with The Canadian Press in Montreal narrates a great video look back at the storm here, with fabulous photos of crippled hydro towers and ice-crusted roads and trees. The video takes a moment to load so be patient – it’s worth it.
