Tornado surprises fire chief
Written by Laura King
Jan. 10, 2008

With unusual weather in much of the country this week, firefighters have surely encountered some interesting calls.

Few stories are as bizarre as that of Alan Kaddatz, the fire chief in
Wheatland, WI, who answered a page and ended up too close for comfort to a tornado. You can read his account in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal.

If your department had any unusual experiences this week let us know.
