FlashPoint generates feedback
Written by Laura King
Jan. 21, 2008
Just as we predicted (and hoped!), Peter Sells’ FlashPoint column in the December issue of Fire Fighting in Canada about two hatters has generated considerable feedback.

Peter has strong opinions and he's not afraid to express them, which is why we wanted him to write for us.

Some letter writers agree with Peter's take on the issue of firefighters who work in one jurisdiction and volunteer in another; others vehemently oppose his views and support the union's position.

We've got a great dialogue going and that's what we were after!

We'll publish all the letters to the editor in the February issue of Fire Fighting in Canada.

Meantime, you can post your views by clicking on the Comment box at the bottom of Peter's column.
