With e-mail problems to sort out and magazine deadlines to meet I’ve neglected my blogging duties so we’re playing catch up today.
I’m still marveling over last week’s story about off-duty Winnipeg firefighter Dale Kasper who pulled Lisa Klassen – sister of Olympian Cindy Klassen and an extremely accomplished young woman herself – out of her car after it jumped a guardrail and landed upside down in the Red River.
The Klassen clan is tight knight and spiritual and believe there’s a reason that the accident happened. They also believe there’s a reason Kasper happened to be traveling behind Klassen’s car. We’re just thankful that he was.
