Developers see value in sprinklers

The push for residential sprinklers gained ground last week when a
Toronto developer announced that it is building Canada’s first fully sprinklered high rise condominium.

The sprinkler system for the College Park condo project costs about $2 million but wise developers in Toronto and in other Ontario communities have grasped the fact that buyers crave safety and are using the sprinkler systems as marketing tools. You can read the Toronto Star story here.
