| Developers see value in sprinklers |

March 5, 2008 The push for residential sprinklers gained ground last week when a Toronto developer announced that it is building Canada’s first fully sprinklered high rise condominium. The sprinkler system for the College Park condo project costs about $2 million but wise developers in Toronto and in other Ontario communities have grasped the fact that buyers crave safety and are using the sprinkler systems as marketing tools.
