RCMP seek man seen setting fire to P.E.I. mall
Written by The Canadian Press
Sept. 2, 2010, Montague, P.E.I. - The RCMP in Montague, P.E.I., is looking for the person who started a fire at the Down East Mall recently, causing several thousand dollars worth of damage.

The Mounties said Wednesday an unidentified male was captured on a security video as he set a bundle of cardboard alight on Aug. 14.

The bundle was between the side of the mall and a trailer.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire before the mall itself caught fire, but the blaze caused significant damage to the outer wall and most of the merchandise in the trailer.

The Mounties said the suspect may also have been involved in at least two other fires in the Montague area.
