Nipawin Fire Department in Saskatchewan, under Fire Chief Brian Starkell, took delivery in July of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks-built wildland urban interface unit. Built on a Freightliner M2-106 chassis and powered by a 350-hp Cummins ISL engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission, the unit is equipped with a 1,250-gpm Darley high-pressure pump, a 1,000-igallon poly water tank, a Foam Pro 2002 Class A foam system, TFT Tornado turret, Akron hose reel, FRC LED scene lights, Whelen LED warning package, howler, scene lights and central com siren, and Zone Defense camera.
