Pierce outfits apparatus with piercing nozzle

Oct. 14, 2015 – Pierce Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corp. company, has introduced the Snozzle – a piercing, high-reach, extendable turret. The Snozzle uses 2,500 kilograms (5,500 pounds) of force to pierce 12-gage steel in order to make first entry, yet has low-impact on truck design and configuration, needing just 64.77 centimetres (25.5 inches) of space.
