Blaze forces evacuation of apartment building

The Canadian Red Cross says the fire broke out around 8 p.m., Thursday at a two-storey building on Robie St.

Officials say the damage was largely confined to one apartment in the four unit building.

There was smoke and water damage to other units and the building’s electricity was cut for safety reasons.

No one was hurt.
