Corner Brook to finance new fire truck

July 6, 2015, Corner Brook, N.L. - Corner Brook city council has decided to go it alone in finding funding to replace one of the Corner Brook Fire Department’s pumper trucks. Several weeks ago, the city announced it was decommissioning the department’s 1988 pumper because it was too difficult to find replacement parts for it. Now, the city says it also has to replace one of its two 1996 pumpers. The Western Star reports. | READ MORE
