Fire forces family of six out of home

Summerside, P.E.I. - A family of six was forced out of a home in Prince Edward Island after a fire caused extensive damage.

The Red Cross says a woman and four children are staying with relatives following the fire last night in Travellers Rest.

The woman's husband was out of the province and no one was at the two-storey home on Highway 2 at the time of the fire.

The Red Cross says it will meet with them today to help with emergency supplies.
