Fire ravages Quebec seniors residence

Only two people were hurt — including a firefighter — while the blaze was battled. The fire, which is believed to have been accidental, was sparked just after 11 p.m. Firefighters from Terrebonne assisted in the evacuation.

The building housed about 80 seniors. Most of those people were entrusted to the care of their families, while the rest were taken under the wing of the Red Cross.
