Staffing changes will affect rescue capabilities

North Bay, Ont. - City politicians have essentially stripped the fire department of its ability to rescue people from burning buildings, says Patrick Burke. The former Ontario fire marshal appeared before council Monday on behalf of the North Bay Professional Fire Fighters Association, warning against recently approved staffing level and response time changes within the department.
