Ten minutes
– that’s all we’re asking of you. It’s 10 minutes we think will help to effect necessary change in Canada’s fire services.

"Click to Win" and complete our national survey of Canadian fire departments.

Please ensure that you complete all the questions.

To keep things consistent, we’re asking that only chiefs (or someone acting on behalf of the chief) fill in the survey.

This will help us make sure we receive only one survey from each department. If you’re reading this and you’re not the chief, please pass it on to your chief.

We’re thrilled to have partnered with ResQTech and Interspiro to offer a fabulous package of prizes that includes an Interspiro S6 SCBA 2007 edition valued at $12,000. All completed surveys will be entered into a draw for the SCBA and other prizes listed on the next page.

The survey results will be published in the March issue of Fire Fighting In Canada along with comprehensive analyses of the data. Ultimately, we hope to compile hard numbers on the growing challenges enveloping the Canadian fire services and arm departments with the evidence on which to base proposals for improved funding and support from all levels of government.

There’s no doubt from reading the submissions from provincial and territorial fire chiefs associations that issues such as volunteer retention, training budgets and communication and co-ordination among emergency responders affect most Canadian fire departments.

This is your chance to initiate change.

Take 10 minutes.
