Ajax loses appeal on 24-hour shifts
Jan. 29, 2014, Ajax, Ont. - A judicial appeal by the Town of an
arbitration board decision allowing firefighters to work 24-hour shifts
has been dismissed. The Ontario Superior Court of Justice
Divisional Court rejected a request from Ajax to quash the ruling,
