Alberta wildfires burning out of control

Edmonton - A wildfire burning about eight kilometres northwest of Lodgepole was still out of control Thursday morning. About 100 firefighters are battling the 750-hectare blaze near Drayton Valley in west-central Alberta, about 130 km southwest of Edmonton. When the fire was discovered Tuesday, it had destroyed about two hectares. The Edmonton Journal reports. | READ MORE
