June 28, 2011, Simcoe, Ont. – The Fire Fighting in Canada group of magazines and websites has launched an online, one-stop-shopping mecca to help Canadian fire departments streamline the way they buy equipment.

Firehall Mall
is an innovative, time-saving and groundbreaking website that combines the simplicity of online shopping with the customer service that fire departments rely on from their local suppliers and distributors and from our Annex Bookstore.

Firehall Mall is working with fire-service manufacturers and suppliers that fire departments know and trust, to offer a fully stocked shopping experience; departments can access products and have them delivered by their local suppliers or distributors.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to help our advertisers market their products and it gives our readers one-stop-shopping,” said Fire Fighting in Canada publisher Martin McAnulty. “It’s like Chapters meets Costco – our bookstore combined with everything your departments needs, in once place, online.”

Annex Publishing and Printing’s newly launched Firehall Mall is a marketplace for the fire service, where departments will be able to find everything from apparatus to Zodiacs.

Additionally, fire departments can advertise and sell used equipment and apparatuses – for free – through Firehall Mall; contact bookstore manager Becky Atkinson at bookstore@annexweb.com to register and set up an account.

Departments can access the Firehall Mall through the Firehall Bookstore at www.annexbookstore.com.
