Barrie firefighters warn of new scam

Feb. 28, 2012, Barrie, Ont. - Barrie firefighters are puzzled about a new scam they learned of Monday. Fire Chief John Lynn said a teen is approaching local businesses, asking to install vending machines. He said the guise is that the machines are a fundraiser for two children who were injured in a house fire. Simcoe.com reports.
