Basement fire damages Calgary duplex

Jan. 4, 2016, Calgary - No one was injured when a fire broke out in the basement of a northwest duplex on Sunday evening. Crews were called to a home in Rosemont around 6:20 p.m. and arrived to find “grey smoke venting from the front door,” according to Battalion Chief John Cherweniuk.
