B.C. campfire ban to take effect on Friday

July 20, 2010, Vancouver - The B.C. Forest Service will announce a fire ban today to take effect Friday at noon. The ban will cover all provincial parks and private lands not covered by municipal fire bylaws, as well as tidal zones, B.C. Forest Services spokeswoman Donna MacPherson said. The Times Colonist reports.
