A government news release says the group will replace 99 personnel that have just returned from Ontario, where fire activity remains high.

The latest deployment includes 98 people.

B.C. has sent more than 850 personnel to Ontario since the province's fire season began.

This year marks the slowest fire season in B.C. in the past 10 years, allowing the province to deploy hundreds of firefighters to other provinces.
