Bird striking power line sparks grass fire

Sept. 26, 2012, Vernon, B.C. - Firefighters managed to douse a two-and-a-half hectare grass fire that was started from a bird hitting a hydro line  and keep it from spreading to a nearby home. The Vernon Morning Star reports.
