Brockville firefighters awarded wage increase

June 13, 2019, Brockville, Ont. – Brockville firefighters are getting a retroactive pay hike of 14.24 per cent over six years in an award handed down by arbitrators late last month. City officials announced the May 30 decision on Wednesday morning, noting the award to the Brockville Professional Firefighters Association covers the period from Jan. 1, 2013 to Dec. 31, 2018.
