Burlington chief to retire after 35 years
Burlington, Ont., Chief Steve Thurlow said Thursday he is retiring after 35 years in the fire service effective Dec. 31. The Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs reports that Burlington city council accepted the chief's retirement on Feb. 27.
