Calgary fire chief upset over ambulance policy

Dec. 11, 2015, Calgary - Fire Chief Steve Dongworth said it’s a disgrace AHS isn’t budging on changing a dated policy that puts firefighters in the back seat. In many cases, Dongworth said firefighters will be on scene ready to drive, but are told to wait for another paramedic to arrive on scene and drive the ambulance.
