Calgary residents back home
March 23, 2008, Calgary - Residents of a community northwest of Calgary are now back in their homes after having to flee a massive grass fire yesterday.

Fire crews from Calgary, the municipal district of Rocky View, Cochrane and Redwood Meadows battled the fast-moving blaze.
They were also assisted by a helicopter from the provincial forestry department.

The fire spread more than a kilometre through Springbank Heights and a neighbouring community, threatening four homes.
Sheds, barns, vehicles and trailers in the path of the fire were destroyed.
