Charlottetown has on-call chaplain

April 24, 2017, Charlottetown, P.E.I. - One person in the Charlottetown Fire Department is there to help firefighters extinguish the mental hardships associated with the grind of the job. Rev. Paula Hamilton, co-minister with her husband, Tom, at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, is the chaplain for the city’s fire department. Hamilton's position is a rarity on Prince Edward Island, and she says she is one of only two fire department chaplains in the province.
