Charlottetown union responds to accusations it is anti-volunteer

Jan. 28, 2020, Charlottetown – Full-time firefighters are not trying to force volunteer members out, says the president of the Charlottetown Professional Firefighters Association. Spencer Waite is speaking out in response to an email that has been circulating publicly that hard feelings have been starting to brew between paid staff and the volunteers — and that the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) is anti-volunteer.
