Nov. 18, 2022, Edmonton – Commercial Emergency Equipment, a Canadian-based apparatus dealer, has relocated and expanded from its Edmonton location to a new service center in Sherwood Park.
“The new service center substantially increases our accessibility, service capacity, and parts availability, allowing us to reduce downtime for our customers by getting apparatus back into service faster,” said Morgan MacKay, general manager of Commercial Emergency Equipment, in a news release.
Now located just east of Edmonton, the 50,000 square-feet facility is double the size of the previous building. The location was built on five and a half acres with significant yard space for storage and future expansion.
There are 19 service bays with dedicated emergency service areas, a 10,000 square foot parts and tools warehouse, three 5-tonne overhead cranes as well as a showroom and large training room.
The new facility also includes a “Blue Floor” delivery bay for customers to inspect new fire apparatus. In conjunction with Commercial Emergency Equipment’s new service center offerings, a second mobile service unit will be instituted, further increasing the ability to rapidly respond to customer needs.
