Councillor asks for smoke-alarm statistics

Jan. 15, 2015, Regina - Recent fires in Regina causing death and serious damage have prompted Coun. Shawn Fraser to bring the question of smoke alarms before city council, asking for – among other things – statistics on the number of fires and fire-related deaths in Regina as well as the number of homes involved that had no working smoke detector.
