Damaged gas meter fuels residential blaze

June 25, 2014, Dawson Creek, B.C. - The Dawson Creek Fire Department responded to a call shortly after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in regard to a fire on the outside of a house. Upon arrival, firefighters determined the gas meter had been damaged by burning garbage and escaping gas was fueling the fire. Energeticcity.ca reports.
