Department denies it was unprepared

April 25, 2008, Montreal - The union representing Montreal's 2,300 firefighters claims its members were sent in to battle car fires during Monday night's post-hockey rampage with no plan to co-ordinate their efforts and found themselves in harm's way as the mob targeted them and their fire trucks with bricks.
