Flames were reported at around 4:30 a.m. in the 40-suite building.
Firefighters say by the time they arrived, a section of the structure was engulfed.
Witnesses say it appears everyone managed to get out and there are no immediate reports of injuries.
A cause of the fire or the extent of the damage have not been determined.
