Dec. 27, 2012, Penobsquis, N.B. – An elderly couple escaped unhurt from a fire that gutted their mobile home on Boxing Day in New Brunswick.
The Canadian Red Cross says the blaze at 5 Penobsquis Loop Road – about 10 kilometres east of Sussex – broke out around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
They say a volunteer firefighter receive a minor injury when a medical oxygen tank exploded inside the home.
The couple is staying with family in the community.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
