Encana oil well fire now out

August 12, 2010, Fort Nelson, B.C. - The blowout at the Encana well bore northeast of Fort Nelson has been capped.
Encana spokesperson Carol Howes says that as of about 2 p.m. Wednesday, the well had been capped and the fire had been put out. Energeticcity.ca reports.
