Nov. 30, 2010 – Unlike the emergency response guides found online, which
contain time consuming and unnecessary information for field personnel,
the Hybrid Response Guide 2000-2011 (HRG), for all current
high-voltage hybrid vehicles, contains concise, pertinent information
for high voltage and SRS/airbag systems.
This compact, easy to use guide will aid in safe, fast extrication of
vehicle occupants, as well as protecting your firefighters/EMS personnel
from high voltage and SRS/airbag incidents.
Presented in a waterproof, spiral bound, organized colour manual, the
HRG is tabbed with vehicle ID. It includes all high-voltage component
locations and power-down procedures, all SRS/airbag locations and
SRS/airbag power down procedures, all high-voltage and mid-voltage
hybrids to date, and offensive and defensive fire attack and water
submersion recommendations. It is created to fit in turnout gear,
extrication tool kits and map pockets, and designed to reduce fears of
high-voltage electrocution and airbag incidents.
