Family escapes burning home

Jan. 22, 2008, Glace Bay, N.S. _ A family of five escaped from their burning home in Cape Breton today.

The Glace Bay home was completely gutted in the blaze.
Police Const. Gary Fraser says the family members are in hospital recovering from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The blaze was reported at around 8 a.m.(CHER)
