FAST Rescue Solutions teams up with BA Shields to enhance industry-leading firefighter training course

April 19, Bridgeport, PA— FAST Rescue Solutions has integrated specialized SCBA mask shields from BA Shields into its rapid intervention training (RIT) curriculum. The mask shields can simulate both blackout and smoked-out conditions, giving firefighters the ability to train in zero- and low-visibility conditions that mimic real-world scenarios.

The SCBA mask shields are impervious to water, debris and impacts, the shields can be donned and doffed in seconds. In addition to replicating dark and smoky conditions during training, the shields protect firefighters’ SCBA lenses from scratches, scuffs and abrasions when not in use. The shields can even be personalized with a custom photo or logo.

FAST Rescue Solutions offers basic and intermediate RIT training that highlights the use of the innovative FAST Board for safe, effective movement and removal of downed firefighting personnel and civilians from hazardous environments.
