Fifty cows killed in barn fire near Rothsay

May 31, 2016, Rothsay, Ont. - A barn fire near Rothsay, Ont., has killed approximately 50 cows on Monday, police say. Wellington County fire training officer Jonathan Karn said crews from the townships of Mapleton and Minto were on the scene Monday afternoon working to contain the barn fire and keep it from spreading to the nearby house and garage.
