Fire destroys aprtment complex

June 9, 2008, Fredericton - Michel Gagnon shook his head in disbelief as he wandered through the smouldering remains of the apartment complex he was building on Hawkins Street. As the Daily Gleaner reports, around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, a fire demolished the nearly finished two-storey, 14-unit complex despite the efforts of the Fredericton Fire Department. READ MORE
