Fire destroys section of downtown Trois-Rivieres
Sept. 4, 2015, Trois-Rivieres, Que. - Residents of a section of the heart of Trois-Rivières were forced from their homes during a fire that consumed several commercial and residential building Thursday evening.

No injuries were reported.
The flames are believed to have started at the rear of a building near St-Georges and St-Denis Sts., not far from Highway 40, in the community 140 kilometres northeast of Montreal.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. An investigation will follow.
