Fire forces family of five from Nova Scotia home

The Canadian Red Cross says the fire broke out yesterday in Manassette Lake, about 20 kilometres east of Guysborough.

The couple and their children, aged three, two and one, had just moved to the province a few weeks ago from Ontario.

Red Cross spokesman Dan Bedell says the family is getting support from his organization and several government agencies and is staying
in emergency lodging in Antigonish.

There's no immediate word on the cause of the **>fire.
