Nov. 13, 2015, Frenchman's Cove, N.L. - Fire has forced a family of three to flee their home in western Newfoundland.

The Canadian Red Cross says the fire broke out yesterday in Frenchman's Cove, a few kilometres west of Corner Brook.

The Red Cross says a woman and two children – ages 10 and three – are staying with a relative for now.

Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross have arranged emergency purchases of clothing, food and toys for the children.
